Delete Your Account & Data

At Robo Reader, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time using one of the methods below.
Option 1: Delete from within the app
If you have the Robo Reader app installed, you can delete your account directly:
- Open Robo Reader on your device
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Tap Profile
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.
Option 2: Request deletion via email
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at:
Please include the email address associated with your Robo Reader account. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 5 business days.
What data is deleted?
When your account is deleted, all of the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- User profile — name, email, preferences, and account settings
- Books & documents — all uploaded or imported files
- Highlights & bookmarks — all saved annotations
- Reading progress & statistics — goals, streaks, and history
- Cloud storage files — all files stored in Firebase Storage
- Authentication record — your Firebase Auth account
- Subscription data — subscription status linked to your account (billing records are retained by our payment processor, Paddle, per their legal obligations)
Data retention
Once deletion is processed, your data cannot be recovered. We do not retain copies of your personal data after deletion, with the following exceptions:
- Payment transaction records held by Paddle (our Merchant of Record) as required by applicable tax and financial regulations
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics data that cannot be used to identify you
